Millenium Park

We love the park! We kill several birds with one stone... Nash and I both get exercise, the fresh air calms Emmie, and we get a little sun which is nice.

Here is Nash all ready to go! I heart his UK hat.

He really likes his bubble wand. In fact it took a long time for him to let me blow bubbles for him because he just wanted to carry it around.

My favorite picture. Nash wants to be just like his Daddy!

Nash loves checking out the "quack quacks" Eventhough the fact that they don't scare him at all makes me extremely nervous. He would go straight in the yucky water if I would let him.
Another fascination is the bridge...he runs back and forth...back and forth

I love the swings especially after a long walk...Nash is "quacking"

I promise Emmie is at the park too. She just is usually asleep.... I can prove it

Starting back to work

Here is a picture of Nash hunting for eggs!

Since I will be starting back to work next week :( I thought this would be a good way for me to almost "journal" what is going on with us and the kids. Since we are getting into a new house, Jon and I both working, and me starting my Masters it will be a very crazy time... but exciting.

Emmie had her two month check up yesterday. She weighs 11 lbs and is 22 inches long (at birth she was 7.12 and 20 inches long). What a big girl! In other exciting news this was the first time we went anywhere and Nash was required to walk where I wanted him to go. Usually all outings involve a shopping cart/stroller/ daddy to help. I had pretty severe anxiety leading up to going to the doctor but all turned out well. Luckily it wasn't a busy parking lot so I wasn't too mortified when he tried to run away from me. Once we got inside he was being such a ham he didn't even notice that I was leading him somewhere.

Dr. Ellis said Emmie looked great minus the little infection in her mouth but that should clear up very soon. She got her two month shots and we were on our way. In other exciting news Nash fell and busted his top lip. He moves so fast and we have hardwood floors... you get the picture. He bled all over my shirt but no teeth were displaced, just a swollen lip. I was hoping to spend my last remaining days at the park with Emmie and Nash, but the weather forecast doesn't seem that that will be the case!
